The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) is seeking a Policy Associate (Student Success Center)<https://www.sbctc.edu/about/jobs/> to join the SBCTC team.
This position leads the development and delivery of a series of connected professional development offerings designed to integrate the Values, Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles<https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/programs-services/student-success-center/guided-pathways-advisory-council.aspx> of the Washington State Guided Pathways implementation framework. This position will work closely with internal and external partners to build system-wide learning opportunities focused on evidence based policies and practices designed to close equity gaps in support of the SBCTC vision, “Leading with racial equity, our colleges maximize student potential and transform lives within a culture of belonging that advances racial, social, and economic justice in service to our diverse communities.”
Headquartered in Olympia, Washington, this position reports to the Director of Student Success Center and Strategic Initiatives for the purpose of improving SBCTC's Guided Pathways scaling practice and policies across the community and technical college system and must be available for travel both in-state and out-of-state.

The annual salary is $94,488.

Washington State has a generous benefit package including health, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, retirement, and two optional deferred compensation programs. The position is eligible to participate in the State Board Retirement Plan<http://www1.tiaa-cref.org/tcm/sbctc/> (SBRP) and Department of Retirement Systems<http://www.drs.wa.gov/> (DRS).
