Guided Pathways Foundations: Integrating Developmental Education and Basic Skills Summit

Friday - March 8, 2019 - tentatively 8-4 p.m.

Colleges will be encouraged to send coordinated, strategic interdisciplinary teams to the Guided Pathways Foundations: Integrating Developmental Education and Basic Skills Summit. The outcomes for the day are to:

1.       Identify & Share Successes and Challenges with Integration of BEdA & Developmental Education.

2.       Provide College teams with foundational pieces of the integration framework within Guided Pathways.

Team Composition: Final details and registration will be sent to the college's Vice President of instruction for registration submission in early January. The recommended team composition of four-five participants may include:


*         VPI - Point of Contact

*         Dean/Director overseeing Basic Skills

*         Dean/Director overseeing Dev Ed (if different)

*         Faculty - Basic Skills

*         Faculty- Dev Ed
