If so . . . . What about TWO Days?
Ah, Luxury . . .

Fall 2018 Assessment, Teaching, and Learning Retreat
A Pro D CoP

November 1 & 2, 2018
Rainbow Lodge, North Bend

Draft Agenda: http://bit.ly/2rypng7

Purpose of the Pro-D CoP
Professional development (Pro D)"lives" all over the organization-not just in a Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) or Center for Learning and Teaching (CELT), but in assessment, in departments, in eLearning, in faculty committees . . . and those who deliver Pro-D hold a vast range of different roles: faculty member, faculty chair, director, dean, etc.

I formed this community of practice (CoP) 4 years ago because we had a core group of folks who regularly attended the Assessment, Teaching, and Learning (ATL) Retreats. In the Pro D CoP, we develop our professional identities as facilitators of learning for our colleagues . . . we learn together in community and get work done while we do it!

We are obsessed with/in love with Pro-D that MATTERS-to our organizations, to the people who work within them, to the people we serve.

"I'm not interested in the exceptions, only the patterns. As a culture, we (the U.S.) focus too much on exceptions, often fooling ourselves into believing that because there are exceptions, the rule no longer exists or that it's easily broken by anyone with enough willpower or hutzpah."
