Session Parking Lot Questions:

Q. Loan Fee not displaying in the Item Type 6 tab for the OR Loan Fee plan
A. Check the Effective Date on your Loan Fee Table.  For example, the Item Type Set Up has an effective date of 01/01/1901, but the Loan Fee for OR2 has an effective date of 01/17/2021.  So, insert a new row into the Item Type, with a date that starts after the Loan Fee Effective Dated row, and then review the Loan Fee in the Item Type 6 tab, the origination fee should now display.

Q. Why are some Disbt Plans not displaying dates when added in the Loan Dates page?
A. We reviewed set up data for the school who checked in about it in the session, and everything from Aid Year Rollover that would impact the dates in the Process Loan Dates page, specifically, the Acad Year Start/End and Loan Period Start/End dates looked correct.  At this time, if your dates are not populating when you are manually adding 30-50 series Disbt Plans in the Process Loan Dates page, but you're able to manually enter in the date in the Academic Year Start Date fields, and delete all other dates, then the set up for Summer Include/Summer Exclude should work fine.  Follow the images for Summer Include/Summer Exclude from the Loan Processing Business Processing Guide.  If you see anything else out of the ordinary during processing, please submit a ticket.

Q. How do I/can I delete old local queries?
A. Please submit a ticket with a list of old local queries you want to delete, and the FA Support team can route the request appropriately.

Q. What about loading 2026 crpn files in the DirectLoans 2025 folder, is this going to cause issues?
A. Potentially. The MPN table where the data goes is not aid-year specific, but the folders to where the files are uploaded are.  So, if you uploaded crpn25 files to the 2026 folders, you will need to run the Import Federal Data step using this file path /CSTRANSFER/WAXXX/DirectLoans2026/ otherwise the system cannot find the files to process them.
