Greetings,
The purpose of this email is to announce that ConexEd<https://www.conexed.com/> has been selected as the vendor for a statewide student success software platform, following a thorough and inclusive Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
Overview of the Process:
This selection marks the culmination of a comprehensive and collaborative effort to identify a technology partner that can support our strategic goals around student engagement, equitable access to services, and improved outcomes.
* The RFP process began with broad input gathering across institutions, commissions, councils, and SBCTC departments to define our needs and priorities.
* A cross-functional evaluation team from across our system reviewed proposals from multiple vendors, assessing the ability of each vendor to deliver on each of the RFP categories (accessibility & equity, case management, communication, data & analytics, student goal planning, and technology integration).
* Finalists were invited to present demonstrations open to viewers across the CTCs; and the scoring team was able to adjust their ratings based on the demonstration.
* The apparent successful vendor then underwent a substantial third-party accessibility assessment to ensure compliance and assurances in the contracting phase.

Next Steps:
* Contract Negotiations: We will begin working with ConexEd to finalize terms and establish a service agreement that supports successful implementation and long-term support.
* Implementation Planning: We will engage with ConexEd and colleges planning to implement this tool to understand institutional capacity, develop a phased rollout plan, and identify key timelines and responsibilities.
* Technical Integration: A key focus will be planning for two-way integration with PeopleSoft (ctcLink) to ensure seamless data flow and coordination across systems.
Throughout the remaining next steps, we will continue to prioritize accessibility as a key focus to ensure usability for all students and end-users.
We are excited about the opportunities this partnership with ConexEd presents, and we’re committed to a thoughtful and well-supported implementation process. Many thanks to everyone who contributed their time, expertise, and feedback throughout the selection process.
