[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] Now in PRD: 2024-2025 WCG Interim Reporting

Good Morning FA-

The 2024-2025 WCG Interim Report is now available in Production!

Updates for 2024-2025 include:

  *   Family Size, Number in College and Family Income columns report blank values.
  *   Enrollment Status will display the number of credits the student is enrolled in. This value is pulled from FA Units Taken in FA Term.
  *   CBS Award Amount now includes Offered CBS awards.
  *   WCG Award Amount will include students awarded the WCG Connect item type if the student has an ISIR/WASFA. In cases when a student does not have an ISIR/WASFA on file, we are still working on an alternate solution.
  *   For 2023-2024 reporting, logic was added to blank out CBS (to not report $0) when a student did not exist with CTC_OK_TO_PAY=Y on the CBS Eligibility page. This was an over correction to the logic and has been removed for 2024-2025.

Note: Updates to the ctcLink WCG Interim Reporting Business Process Guide<https://ctclinkreferencecenter.ctclink.us/m/92436/l/848386-wcg-interim-reporting-business-process-guide> are in progress. The processing guide on the Reference Center remains applicable to generating the report and troubleshooting.

Additional Important Info:
Students that exist in the Interim csv file with less than 3 credits will cause an error upon upload to CSAW. Below is an example of what CSAW will display. To proceed with file upload there are two options:

  *   Override the FA Units Taken in FA Term for the mentioned term and re-run the WCG Interim report to generate a new csv file to load to CSAW.
  *   Remove the row indicated from the csv file. The student enrollment status will need to be addressed to report the student record to CSAW, however, this option allows for the remaining students to be reported and Edits produced.

The 2024-2025 WCG Interim Report is scheduled to migrate to Production tomorrow evening. I will follow up once I've validated that the updated report is available for use.

This message is specific to 2024-2025 WCG Interim reporting. This does not pertain to 2023-2024 WCG Interim reporting.

The updates to the 2024-2025 WCG Interim Report are not yet available in Production. If you attempt to load the current WCG Interim csv generated from ctcLink into the CSAW portal to report for 2024-2025, you will receive an error.

Once we have details of when to expect the updates in Production, we will send an update. Until then, you may run WCG Interim Report for 2024-2025 in ctcLink to generate the Interim Error report to address any errors.
