Hello FA Community!!
 There have been a few questions regarding the Good Jobs Challenge program item types which some schools have begun to implement (for those who were eligible/received this funding).
One issue that arose was when awarding this aid to a student, without an ISIR, the following message would appear:

The Error Message occurs due to the item type setup indicating a Federal Grant which requires an ISIR to be on file for awarding. The original understanding of this funding source was that it was Federal, being from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration; however, reaching out for some additional clarification, the funds are allocated to State agencies, such as WSAC, to then disburse to colleges. These funds should be setup with a 912xxx (State Grant) numbering convention, and unfortunately were originally Globally setup with a 911xxx numbering convention.

The new Good Jobs Challenge numbers will be:
912000000880 Good Jobs Challenge Grant                       GJSGrant
912000000881 Good Jobs Challenge-Bks/Tls ND        GJSBooksND
912000000882 Good Jobs Challenge - Other                    GJSOtherND

For colleges that have not setup or have not used the 911xxx:
There is NO IMPACT to your institution. If you have setup the item types, but not used them (please “trust but verify”), please add an effective dated row to the item types following the ‘DNU – Do Not Use’ naming convention to assist with prevention of using these item types. Additionally, to zero out the Fiscal Item Types page values to add a layer of “security” to prevent accidental awarding.

For colleges that have setup AND used the global 911xxx item types:
You will need to submit a new Item Type creation spreadsheet via a ticket. Once the new item types are created, you will need to pull back the 911xxx awarded aid and ‘replace’ it with the 912xxx item types.
