A couple of questions have come in that I would like to address:


  *   The xx referenced in the spreadsheet and email below represents your institution's 2-character checklist naming convention (ex: FTC197 for Tacoma or FCP197 for Clover Park)



  *   In preparation for the Fin Aid 2024-2025 Go-Live Support Sessions next week, an updated ISIR Jobset guide will be sent on the FA listserv tomorrow

We've developed global queries and checklists to address comment codes introduced for aid year 2024-2025.

IMPORTANT: New queries are not yet available in Production.  More details on when queries will be available will be sent soon. Please do not create run control pages until we've announced the queries are available.


Action Item:

  *   You may begin building the new global checklists and Event ID's for your college.
  *   The attached spreadsheet (New Checklists for AY25) contains a list of the new global checklists and Event IDs along with their naming conventions to aid in configuration
Note: Two of the checklists will start with F as they are odd-year specific (Fxx197 and Fxx198)


Updating existing checklist Exx050 NSLDS Loan Limits:
For 2024-2025 comment codes 254 & 257 have been added to the CTC_FA_SB_AD_050 query criteria. To accommodate this change, the comment associated with the checklist should be updated. Updating the checklist comment will impact current year. When you are ready to update your checklist, please add a new effective dated row to add the comment below:

Staff: Student is Close, Equal to or has Exceeded loan limits

Disclaimer: If you have made the Exx050 checklist student facing, the checklist comment should be updated to suit the needs of your student population.

  *   Disbursement Rules:

If the checklist(s) should prevent a student from receiving a disbursement, the checklist(s) will need to be added to the disbursement rules on the applicable item type(s). Note that when adding a new effective dated row to the item type disbursement rules, be sure to back date the effective date to the start of the calendar year before Saving your changes. For 2024-2025, this would be 01/01/2024. By using a date that is at the start of the year, this ensures that the checklist rule will be applied to students already awarded for the aid year.
