[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] Fin Aid Training: Direct Loan Reconciliation Refresher

This calendar invite is for a Financial Aid Training on a Direct Loan Reconciliation Refresher held on Tuesday November 7th, 2023, from 9AM - 11:00AM.  This Fin Aid Training Session is a review on reconciling Direct loans in ctcLink.

Objectives:


  *   Understand the steps to produce the Direct Loan Reconciliation report in ctcLink
     *   Upload/Download File Process
     *   Import Federal Data Files
     *   Running SBCTC DL Recon Report
  *   Understand how to view and work the DL Recon report
Audience:  Staff responsible for reconciliation of Direct loans
Action Required:  Prior to the session, please ensure the DSDF message class file is in your SAIG mailbox.  ctcLink works with fixed-length file formatting, and you will not see this file in your SAIG mailbox/EdConnect unless you contact COD Customer Service to request the file to be received going forward. Each month, you will be loading this dsdf file into ctcLink to create a custom-SBCTC report you will use to reconcile DL awards against COD.
This session will be recorded.  The presentation slide deck will be attached to this invite prior to the session delivery.
