Overview Session:  PeopleSoft Financials Security
Tuesday,  March 29, 2022 , 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
This session will occur in the Finance Webex Support room  (so wait till 2 pm to join!)

Who should attend?
All users can benefit from this optional session, the goal of which is to gain a working understanding of security so they can effectively communicate with their Local Security Administrators on campus.  We would love for the Security Administrators to attend as well.
Session Details
Security is often the root of the situation, whether the problem or the solution.  But what is security?  What is a role?  What is a permission?  What is this ZZ, ZD vs ZC thing?  What query do I use for what?  What role do I need and how do I figure that out?  What is the difference between security and User Preference/Secondary type security?  Shelia is going to make a guest appearance and help those of us not in the assign-security-business with a Security 101.  She will demystify security by giving us some baseline understanding and working knowledge. She will also speak to the change process involved for requesting new or adjusted security roles.
