This calendar invite is for your Just-in-Time Training on Pell Reconciliation for Summer Term held on Tuesday August 16th, 2022, from 9AM - 11AM.  This Just-in-Time Training Session on Pell Reconciliation for Summer Term is a deeper dive on the processes of loading the SAS File found in the Pell Processing Business Process Guide | 9.2 FA - Financial Aid Business Process Guides | ctcLink Reference Center<https://ctclinkreferencecenter.ctclink.us/m/92436/l/798577-pell-processing-business-process-guide> - Working pages 32 - 50 in the guide.

Action Required:  DPAs, please contact COD Customer Service prior to this meeting and request that you begin receiving the following files into your SAIG mail box:

pgrc file (pgrc23op.dat message class)
pgas (pgas23op.dat message class)
pgsm (pgsm23op.dat message class)

ctcLink works with fixed-length file formatting, and you will not see these files in your SAIG mailbox/EdConnect unless you contact COD Customer Service/or request the file from COD to be received going forward. Each month, you will be loading the Pell recon files into ctcLink to create a custom-SBCTC report, and other reports for SAS detail that you will use to reconcile Pell awards against COD.

When you first receive the files in your SAIG mailbox/EdConnect, you may receive the pgyr file, which is a year-to-date version of the pgrc file.  Thereafter, every first Saturday of the month, you will receive the pgrc file in your SAIG mailbox.

Objectives:


*         Refresher on Oracle-delivered Pell Reports

*         Loading the Pell recon file into ctclink

*         Running and reviewing the custom SBCTC Pell Recon report

*         Loading/Reviewing/Printing the SAS detail
Audience:
Fin Aid Staff responsible for reconciling Pell grant

This Pell Recon session is geared toward colleges who have just begun their first quarter of processing financial aid fully in ctcLink, though, all previously deployed colleges, and colleges still in Dual Processing for summer term are invited to attend.

This session will be recorded.  The presentation slide deck will provided as soon as it is available.
