[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] ABE Fix Implementation

Good afternoon -

We have finally (YAY) implemented a fix for ABE!! HUGE shout out to the Data Services team, and in particular Carmen, for getting this across the finish line. The new grading basis of BGB (BEdA Grading Basis) should be in production by Wednesday morning. Course and class builders will need to look at the, Basic Education for Adults Course and Class Coding<https://www.sbctc.edu/resources/documents/colleges-staff/data-services/data-warehouse/beda-course-and-class-coding.pdf>, to make sure they are building out their classes correctly with this new grading basis for Summer/Fall term(s).  In addition, we are sending out this documentation to appropriate list servs to verify that all stakeholders are aware of this new approach for ABE courses, coding and grading basis. We have already updated the appropriate QRG's in the reference center and the SBCTC Student & Course Coding Manual <https://www.sbctc.edu/resources/documents/colleges-staff/data-services/data-warehouse/sbctc-student-and-course-coding-manual.pdf>  with this new information; including a new QRG - Updating a Course Grading Basis<http://ctclinkreferencecenter.ctclink.us/m/79555/l/1403209-9-2-updating-a-course-grading-basis>.
