[ctcLink-Mobile] Notice - Maintenance - Production - All Pillars - PeopleTools 8.61 Upgrade

Hello everyone,

Please see below for information about the upcoming PeopleTools 8.61 upgrade. The ctcLink production site will be offline on Saturday, April 26, 6:00 am - 8:00 pm, while PeopleTools 8.61 upgrade activities are being performed. Canvas will remain available, but users will need to login directly instead of through the ctcLink shortcut.

Please note the additional impacts during the PeopleTools upgrade maintenance window:


  *   The HighPoint Campus Experience (HCX) mobile site and app will be unavailable.
  *   The Online Admissions Application Portal (OAAP) will be unavailable.
  *   The integration between CampusCE and ctcLink will be unavailable. Following completion of the upgrade activities, colleges will need to resubmit any unprocessed orders received during the downtime.
  *   Users can expect to receive an additional communication soon regarding shutdown procedures for recurring processes and jobs that are scheduled on Saturday, April 26.

Additionally, as part of the PeopleTools upgrade, CS Core Support will be running a Full Build of Fluid Class Search and Enroll. This process is expected to complete by Sunday evening, April 27. While the Full Build is running:

  *   ctcLink Fluid Class Search and Enroll<https://ctclinkreferencecenter.ctclink.us/m/79750/l/1102427-9-2-enroll-by-class-search-to-shopping-cart> will be unavailable to staff and students.
  *   Students will be able to enroll using HighPoint HCX (Mobile)<https://ctclinkreferencecenter.ctclink.us/m/79750/l/1417048-mobile-hcx-enroll-in-classes> after it comes back online following PeopleTools upgrade activities.

This notice is for all users of the ctcLink production environment.

Issue
SBCTC will be upgrading PeopleSoft applications to PeopleTools version 8.61

  *   The entire ctcLink production environment will remain offline during the maintenance window.
  *   Users logging into ctcLink will be directed to an offline notice with links to college Canvas sites.
  *   Canvas will not be impacted.
