[ctcLink-Mobile] Mobile (HCX) - Q&A session, URL, & APP information

Hi Drake (and everyone)—

We discovered that the URLs for the direct-to-class search options had typos in the spreadsheet you sent out.  All of those had /csaut/ still after /psp/ even though the root site had been updated to csprd.  Update it to /psp/csprd/ and the rest of the string is correct.  The Springboard links were correct.

On June 17th at 10am we will be hosting a Q&A session where you will be able to do a review of your institution's springboard prior to our go-live with Mobile (HCX) on the 19th. An invite to this Q&A Session will be sent out shortly. If you see anything that is out of place or perhaps your institution has updated a URL that has not been reflected in HCX we will be able to make the change for you so that everything is how you would like it on the 19th. After the 19th if you come across any changes that you would like to make we will ask you to submit a ticket in the ticketing system so we can get that work done for you. The request type is ctcLink Support > Campus Solutions > HighPoint > Mobile > College Issue

An important thing to keep in mind with the launch of HCX is that some of the URLs that you may be used to using will change. Your institution’s vanity URL will now point to your new HCX springboard as of the release of HCX on the 19th. If your college is using or has linked to your Mobile Class Search URL you will need to have this updated to your new Mobile (HCX) Class Search. We have attached an excel document that contains your institution specific vanity URL, springboard URL, Class Search URL w/ the sidebar menu, & your Class Search URL w/o the sidebar menu. Outside of your vanity URLs, the others will not be active until the afternoon of June 19.

Currently Apple and Google are experiencing a longer than normal approval time for applications for their stores. Because of this the current application that a student will have downloaded will direct to a webpage that informs the student that an updated app will be released soon and provide a link that will direct them to HCX. Once the updated application is approved by Apple or Google the student will be able to update their app and will experience the HCX version of mobile. To accommodate this timing the m.ctclink.us URL will also direct to the same webpage about the soon to be released applications and provide the direct links to HCX.
