Subj:    Legacy Transcript Application Update:  effective Oct. 25, 2024
Dear college community:
We are pleased to announce the Legacy Transcript application will be updated to address items that have been reported over the last several months.
What’s changing?
Over the last several months, colleges provided very useful feedback related to the functionality of the new Legacy Transcript application<https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/it-support/legacy-applications/legacy-transcript-project/>. Based on that feedback, the application has been updated to address a variety of concerns.
Legacy Transcript users will notice a change in the application’s behavior on the evening of Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.
Release notes
The following issues reported by college users have been addressed in this release. Solar Winds ticket numbers are referenced at end of each bullet.
Official Transcripts

  *   Large open spaces between terms removed - 174111
  *   Formatting and table marks removed - 174111
  *   Transcripts with very large course counts for a single term are now able to traverse columns and pages as needed - 186812
  *   Suppression of unwanted courses corrected - 174250
  *   Footer has more room for optional signature block - 175877

Unofficial Transcripts

  *   Formatting of the footer overlapping multiple pages corrected - 174250

Message Received Only Once When Sent to Multiple Mail Lists: A message sent to multiple lists is received only once by members using Microsoft Exchange Server and MS-Outlook. For example, if a systemwide message is sent to 10 lists, and you are a member of five of those lists, you will receive the message only once rather than five times.
