Hello  CTCLDA members!

Last Fall many members joined us for the Planning Institute Level I from the Society of College and University Planning (SCUP). We had a great response to this workshop and so we are going to offer the second level of the Planning Institute. We would love to have you join us for workshops on designed and putting a strategic plan in motion!

[https://www.scup.org/asset/126871]The Planning Institute II is focused on the development and implementation of a strategic plan,  and the evaluation of the program outcomes. SCUP describes the event as:

The implementation doesn't start when the written plan is finished; it starts when it is begun. In Planning Institute 2, you'll learn the planning process that happens after you know what your institution needs to do, and figure out the how-goals and tactics, alignment (up, down, and through the institution), resourcing the plan, and implementation.


*         Create a plan that strikes that balance between ambition and reality.

*         Infuse the plan's decisions across your institution (we call this "alignment") so everyone's working towards the same vision.

*         Nurture the planning processes in colleges, divisions, and departments.

*         Build buy-in and deal with resistance.

*         Adapt your plan to changing circumstances.



This is a two-day event that we have tentatively planned to take place at Clover Park Technical College June 3rd and 4th.  The price for the two-day event is $1250 and this will include lunch.

The CTCLDA would love to provide this opportunity but the Institute II is a big commitment. To provide this program to our members, we are required to have at least 30 individuals sign up for the workshop before we can run the program. If we do not have at least 30 individuals sign up for this opportunity we will have to cancel the workshop.
