[CTCLDA] Applications Open for the CTCLDA Leadership Academy

Hello CTCLDA Members,

It is my pleasure to announce today that the CTCLDA is officially opening applications for The Leadership Academy. Members of the CTCLDA Board reviewed the Leading from the Middle program that was offered in the past and developed the Leadership Academy. The program has been created to assist in the development of leadership theories and practice within the Washington CTC system. The design includes presentations and interactive group sessions lead by members of the CTC system. The program will explore the fundamentals of leadership and its challenges while having a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion on a personal, organizational, and system levels.

The Leadership Academy will take place over 3 days once a quarter. These workshops will be the day before the CTCLDA Conferences so that participants can attend the conferences as well to continue their personal and professional development. The proposed dates for the workshops are subject to change, but as follows: November 29th, February 28th, and August 14th. The program cost will be $1,000 for the entire 3 day program. This will include all materials, supplies, as well as lunch and refreshments.

A Letter of Commitment will be required from the individual's President, VP, or Dean in order to be a confirmed program participant. The letter is required as the registration fee is non-refundable whether the participant attends all the workshops or not.

Participants will be presented with their Certificate of Recognition at the Summer Conference and must attend all three sessions in order to receive the certificate.

This will be a first come first served program and applications will be due no later than October 31st, 2018. Attached is a pdf flyer with all the information individuals will need to apply.

The CTCLDA is looking forward to joining the participants for this great opportunity for leadership development and system-wide networking. Please apply as soon as possible and confirm your spot!
