[corrections_edu_deans] OC Transition

Good afternoon, CEDD

This afternoon a notification went out to the college presidents and the Women's Prison Division them informing them of Olympic College's decision to pull out of the DOC contract at WCCW and MCCCW. I want to make sure you are all aware as well and take a moment to thank the Olympic College team for their dedicated support to our students. This past year was not an easy lift for the college, and they have put in a tremendous amount of time and effort to get these programs running.

Olympic will continue to offer services through December of this year. Our goal is to get a college identified and create some overlap to address some of the hurdles we experienced in the previous transition.
