I forgot to include the message that went out to members of these groups from Bryan Fauth. So yeah, the two sessions are intended to just be duplicates to help accommodate schedules. I will likely be at both though.

Dear DSSC & WAPED Members,

We know many of you were concerned after reading the memo (attached for reference) sent by the American Council on Education (ACE) requesting to delay the implementation of the ADA Title II Rule Change. This proposed delay raises many concerns about access and rights to the disability community. Both DSSC and WAPED are committed to advocating for the implementation of updates to Title II of the ADA. Our boards have been in communication and we want to give membership an opportunity to discuss the best way for our organizations to collaborate and respond.

On Monday, June 9th, both organizations will be holding two different listening session times for members. Board members will be present from both groups, and anyone who is a member of either DSSC or WAPED is welcome to attend. This will be a space for open discussion, where members can share their perspectives, voice concerns, and help shape our collective response.
The listening sessions will be held at 10am and 3pm via Zoom. The Zoom information is below. Thank you for your time and please feel free to reach out if there are any questions.

  * Discuss American Council on Education Letter - Session 1 at 10:00am<https://spscc.zoom.us/j/87832470470>
