I just double checked, and CTC baccalaureate degrees do earn completion points. Completion points are earned for each credential earned over 20 credits (so certificates earned en route to an associate degree are also awarded points). Thanks for the question - we will update the glossary on the SAI 3.0 points dashboard to include baccalaureate degrees.

Greetings all,
It has been awhile since I have looked at this and perhaps others can correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe Student Achievement Initiative (SAI) points are awarded for completion of an associates degree. It doesn't mention completion of bachelor degrees.

I have added Summer on this email, to see if she can clarify. It may or may not be data worth considering in construction of degrees. Summer, do SAI points get awarded only for associate degrees?
Warmest regards,

We would like to acknowledge the people whose land we are gathered on today. Present day Des Moines is located on the traditional village sites of the Muckleshoot, Puyallup and many other Coast Salish tribes who made their homes on these lands and along these waters.
Let us also acknowledge the robust Indigenous communities made up of tribal diversity that originate from around the country, and whose journeys have brought them here and to other locations by ways of forced displacement or seeking opportunities.
Today the same communities celebrate their heritage, showing resilience and tenacity that would be greatly admired by their ancestors.

LWTech has a BAS in Dental Hygiene program that is 8 quarters in length. I'd be happy to connect you with the Associate Dean who oversees the program if you'd like more information from her.

Subject: [BLC] [SPAM] Dental Hygiene BAS
Greetings All!
Our Allied Health Team presented a new program concept paper to our internal review committee last night. A BAS in Dental Hygiene was discussed. Given the industry regulations/best practices from the external accrediting body, it seems a 2+2 program would not support the needs of students. Rather, a 4-year degree with no "stop out" period is preferred.
One of the members of our team seemed to remember a variance of some sort granted to another college in the system for a similar program. Does anyone know this history of such requests (4-year degrees rather than 2+2 programs)? We are curious about what sort of approval process might exist for this request and where we can learn more.
Thank you for your help!
