[BLC] BAS & Financial Aid

Hi Tanya,

We have a high/low tuition set up as well. Students taking upper division
(300/400) level courses get a discount on concurrent lower division
(100/200) level courses. This is actually reduced from our typical tuition
pricing. So instead of ~$119/cr it is around ~$11-12. Students taking only
lower division courses - typically in summer when our BAS cohort does not
have courses - they pay normal lower division prices.

We are more concerned with the applicable work students have completed, so
we don't have a hard line that they *have* to have a 2-year degree
completed prior to starting the program (at least in my programs). This
means we do have students who finish their AAS-T during the BAS and can
apply for graduation separately. In that way, financial aid is covering
both but only because the AAS-T requirements are folded into what they need
for the BAS. They can only have one active program.

Thanks,
KDN
