Hello,
SFCC uses MATH 300 or MATH 107 depending on the program. Some of our AAS degrees use BUS, but for the BAS we require MATH.

We do include PHIL& 120 and we do follow our GenEd distribution requirement for AAS-T degrees.
I recommend in order to meet the intent of the QR course requirement only courses with a pre-requisite of Intermediate Algebra (MATH 098/099) or higher be included.
Thanks - Mike

Hello BLC,

I was wondering if any of you know of any colleges that use something other than a MATH prefix for your quantitative skills requirement. Do any of you use any BUS, CS, PHIL, or something else as well? Do you ONLY use the quantitative distributions allowed by the DTA or do you use other criteria?

Please feel free to message me offline if you wish :) cgore at tacomacc.edu<mailto:cgore at tacomacc.edu>

Kind regards,

Char
