Good Morning BFET Team!

Please see the exciting information below regarding Ability to Benefit and statewide data collection! No more need for colleges to self-collect and self-report data. This now supports efforts for a statewide process!

Kindly,

Subject: New Ability to Benefit Coding for this Quarter

Good afternoon!

There is new Ability to Benefit coding that needs to be implemented this quarter (B903/2201). There is a new Unusual Action Code (A$) for Legacy colleges, and a new SATB Student Group for PeopleSoft colleges. These are quarter specific, as students are only coded if receiving financial aid based on Ability to Benefit.

For full details, please see the Ability to Benefit Coding Instructions<https://www.sbctc.edu/resources/documents/colleges-staff/data-services/data-warehouse/ability-to-benefit-coding-instructions.pdf> or the SBCTC Student & Course Coding Manual<https://www.sbctc.edu/resources/documents/colleges-staff/data-services/data-warehouse/sbctc-student-and-course-coding-manual.pdf>.

Thank you!
