Hello all,

This is a friendly reminder that the FFY20 BFET budget revision deadline is Monday, September 16th.

Please make sure to submit a revision in OBIS by the end of the day Monday 9/16, at 11:55 pm. However, staff will only be available to assist until 4 pm on Monday. Please send in your question as soon as possible today or Monday, as staff workload is currently high. The initial announcement is below with additional information should you need it.

Hello BFET Team!

Thank you for your patience! Thank you to all who responded promptly. Thank you to all of the colleges who returned funds. Attached is the updated grant amounts from the Fall Funding Survey for 50/50 funding and 100% funding. There were no 100% funds dedicated for tuition. All requests were approved. Funds must be budgeted in the manner they were requested. Approvals were based on billing/invoicing, current budget, and immediate need.

SBCTC will adjust grant amounts in OBIS<https://apps.sbctc.edu/OBIS> within the next two days. Once your grant amount is adjusted in OBIS, your college will receive an automated award increase/decrease notification from OBIS. After you receive the automated email, you will need to go into OBIS to create and submit a budget revision request so that your budget reflects the new grant amount.

Reminders:

1)      OBIS will not allow you have an invoice and a budget revision in process at the same time. July billing is due September 10th.  If you need to do a budget revision so you have the ability to bill, you will need to complete your budget revision prior to submitting your billing.

2)      If you were awarded 100% funds you will need to complete the narrative(s) for those categories where you have funding on the 100% funds line item. You cannot use these funds until you have an approved budget revision.

Budget revisions are due no later than Monday, September 16th.
