Hello BFET Team and Happy Friday!

Thank you for your patience as we reached out to DSHS for clarifications on your questions and obtained the recording from the meeting.

Policy Clarification Received:

1)       Do we include homework hours in component hours?

a.       Yes. You should include all hours a student is expected to participate within your component hours, including homework.

Still Awaiting DSHS Policy Clarification On:

1)      Is online study time at home approvable for childcare?

2)      What information in the employment screen are providers expected to complete?

3)      What can DSHS eligibility workers legitimately ask of colleges in regards to a students' financial aid funding?
We understand that the answers to these questions will help you do your work and have a better understanding of DSHS policies. Additionally, DSHS has shared with us that they are working on a Q&A from their BFET Provider Meeting. As soon as we receive clarification for these questions and/or the Q&A from DSHS we will send them out via the listserve.
