The Able-Bodied Adult Without Dependents (ABAWD) Liaison position will serve as a single point of contact for immediate engagement of ABAWDs in activities that matter and fulfill the work requirement for Basic Food eligibility. This position will contribute to the development of the statewide ABAWD Liaison model and will provide support to ABAWD students in resources and opportunities. The ABAWD Liaison will work as a part of the Workforce Grants and Advising team at SVC and provide intake, assessment, referrals and support in accessing activities at community colleges or with other community partners. The ABAWD Liaison will also work to enhance collaborations with community partners and increase resources for colleges to support low-income students.

This is a 12-month, exempt grant-funded position working 100% of full-time, which is 40 hours per week. This position is dependent upon continued grant funding. Successful candidate must be able to start by August 16, 2019.

What we offer: A salary of $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
