Yes, we are very well aware of the 30th being the deadline. Being that a college’s billing/invoicing may have reimbursement for reutilized funds we are anticipating some coming in late.

Jennifer –
The last day to submit Winter billing is  April 30th – the day of this WebEx.  I am assuming that you are not asking asking colleges to delay our billing process with our Student Financial office until after this training? We can move forward with billing and submit the form after the deadline, correct?
I will not be available the week of the 30th.  I will need to review with my fiscal staff (who will be attending the training) before anything is submitted to SBCTC.

Good Morning BFET Team!

Since there is a high need to have the WebEx recorded and available to those that will not be there we need to reschedule the WebEx. This will allow for proper accessibility standards to be met with the power point training, the WebEx discussion, and give enough time for your fiscal and BFET staff to review the training we will be sending ahead of time.

The new date is April 30th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Please make all efforts to have at least one person from your BFET team and your fiscal team attend.

The power point training and WebEx information will be sent approximately a week prior to the WebEx. It is important that you review the training material and come prepared to this WebEx with your current processes, questions you have, and be ready to engage in an in-depth conversation. We want you to be as prepared as possible as you will be submitting a new Reutilized Funds worksheet with your winter quarter billing/invoicing.

Hello BFET Team,

It has come to our attention that our Fiscal staff recently became aware of a discrepancy between the amount of reutilized funds being billed for and the amount that should be reported on your tracking sheet. Because the discrepancy is not specific to any one college we are going to provide a power point training and facilitate some system discussions on the use of Reutilized Funds and Match (leverage) Certification Forms.

We have a tentative date set for a WebEx on April 16, 2018 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Please make all efforts to have at least one person from your BFET team and your fiscal team attend.
