The Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) invites applications for Policy Associate for Corrections.

As part of SBCTC's Education Division, this position serves as a member of the leadership team providing statewide coordination and technical assistance for correctional education programs including basic skills, vocational training, AAS degrees, offender change, re-entry, I-BEST, and other agreed upon education programs offered by thirteen community colleges in partnership with the Department of Corrections at the state's twelve adult correctional facilities.

Headquartered in Olympia, this position serves as the liaison between Department of Corrections stakeholders, community college partners, and the State Board for Community and Technical College staff.
The annual salary for this position is $85,578.24.  Washington State has a generous benefit package including health, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, retirement, and two optional deferred compensation programs. The position is eligible to participate in the State Board Retirement Plan<http://www1.tiaa-cref.org/tcm/sbctc/> (SBRP) and Department of Retirement Systems<http://www.drs.wa.gov/> (DRS).
