[BFET] BFET Mandatory Training Verification Form

This applies to a subset of HS21+ students, and Mat is looking into it. Here is more information:

Students need to be pursuing a financial aid eligible program to receive financial aid.  This is called the student intent code and is listed in SMS.  HS21+ students have a student intent code of D and a program code of H21.

If a HS21+ student is pursuing a transfer degree using Ability to Benefit, the coding is SMS reflects the long-term goal that is financial aid eligible.  For example a student pursuing a transfer degree Education would have an intent code of B with a program code AAS.

It is my understanding that BFET students must have intent codes of D, M, or F.

Would anyone have a copy of the new coding guidance  for high school 21+ that was discussed today during the BEFT call in? We have not heard anything from our basic studies department and are deeply concerned about the effect it may have on all the basic studies students that we serve thru BFET and maybe worker retraining.

Good morning.
Here is a new Mandatory Training Verification form for your use. As I mentioned during the teleconference this morning, if you could use this as a team building activity and have everyone sign on the same form, it would be helpful to me. However, if that can't be done, individual forms can be submitted.

Please have all mandatory training completed and verification forms submitted to me nlt October 31st.
