[ATcoord] WA Learning Lab Application is due today!

Good morning Monica,

I am emailing to let you know that CCS campuses were extremely interested in participating in the WA Learning Lab. However, the transition happening in many offices and the time expectations caused concern for many departments. I suspect this opportunity is in high demand for campuses with buy-in from multiple departments which is why I refrained from applying.

The reason I am reaching out to you, after the deadline, is to let you know that should there be any remaining spots available, our Project Management team (myself, our Innovation Officer, and our Procurement specialist) would love to participate. Our solution to time concerns would be to share out applicable topics after we attend the sessions to benefit other departments. I know this isn’t the WA Learning Lab’s vision, but our colleges could greatly benefit from this opportunity.

I completely understand if this is not an option and will watch for future opportunities. I thought hard about sending this out and then remember my own advice to my kiddos, “If you don’t ask, the answer is always no; if you ask, there is always a possibility it might be yes.”

I look forward to learning how campuses benefitted from the opportunity and to future events.
