<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The Instruction Commission (IC) has formally voted in support of establishing a Dual Credit Council, and the WACTC Educational Services Committee has requested that WSSSC and IC work together to determine
how this Council will interact with both commissions before taking this council proposal to a vote in October.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The proposed Dual Credit Council is intended to bring coherence, equity, and strategic direction to this evolving landscape. It will take on critical work, including piloting standardized procedures, updating
faculty credentialing, supporting accreditation, and advising on legislative revisions. It will also play a key role in shaping the 2025–2027 CHSA Dual Credit Policy Cohort that SBCTC is leading for the state.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">In preparation for the July 17 Hot Topics meeting, my hope is that you can:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
