<p class="MsoNormal">Our council advances and supports professional development of professionals working in student programs, student activities, student government, and student union management staff. We provide some of the following support resources for
these professionals and students within the system:<o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">Quarterly council meetings which include opportunities to connect with other professionals, day-long professional development, and an opportunity to be involved in statewide committee
work<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">Engaged network of professions to assist staff with various topic areas related to our functional areas (student programs, activities, government, graduation, clubs/organizations,
food pantries, etc.)<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">Annual student leadership conference (held at the beginning of September) for student leaders from across the system<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo3">State-wide student legislative advocacy (support of student leaders to advocate for legislative initiatives, setting the annual student legislative agenda, and the annual legislative
advocacy day in Olympia in January (January 25<sup>th</sup> this year))<o:p></o:p></li></ul>
