<p class="MsoNormal">Attached (or a link below, I can’t tell on my phone) is a summary of the gainful employment rule that was cleared this morning and will go into effect on July 1, 2024 (barring any delays from a shutdown).<u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As far as the programs affected, this is very similar to the last iteration of GE, in that for our colleges it will apply to non-degree, Title IV eligible programs. There are a number of approaches to mitigate the number of affected programs
- mainly in the way they are embedded into degrees - but we do have terminal certificates that would be GE programs. As we move forward with badges, stackable programs, and other short term programs, this is something to bear in mind. <u></u><u></u></p>
