<p class="MsoNormal">Thank you for your questions, Michele! SBCTC has secured up to $108,000 per college for FY23, if all 34 colleges elect to participate. If fewer colleges participate, we may have an opportunity to fund the participating colleges at a larger
amount to ensure all funds are allocated for the year. As of now, the pilot is funded through the end of FY23 and is set to expire in 2024. That being said, the case for ongoing funding becomes even more compelling with system-wide participation.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness (SSEH) Pilot provides an opportunity for colleges to request funding to support staff time to manage the work in the following ways:<o:p></o:p></p>

Administration - colleges may request up to 10% of the total allocation for staff time needed to manage the reporting and other requirements associated with the funding.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">
Case management - colleges may also request funding to support staff time needed to provide direct support to program eligible students.<o:p></o:p></li></ul>

<p class="MsoNormal">A report is not legislatively required for the SSEH Pilot until December 2023. That being said, we’ve prepared 2-page updates to the legislature on an annual basis in an effort to advocate for additional resources.

<p class="MsoNormal">Also, we have implemented a quarterly reporting process to assist the pilot colleges, SBCTC and WSAC in collecting data to fulfill the following legislative requirements for the report due December 2023:<o:p></o:p></p>
