<p class="xxmsonormal">Attached is a summary comparison of the Governor’s proposed capital budget for the community colleges. It fully funds the top two items on our request, the Pierce College Fort Steilacoom emergency asbestos abatement and our minor works
proposal to complete funding for infrastructure projects that were not included in the biennial budget.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="xxmsonormal">The overall proposal includes $204,138,000 in new appropriations from the State Building Construction Account, but does not include any special project escalation funds for any agency throughout state government.<o:p></o:p></p>
