<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Open Sans",sans-serif">We are requiring completion of the self-attestation module and then conducting random audits of students who have done so. We’re trying to audit between 20 – 50 students a week, but it’s
been difficult given student responses. The audits involve a zoom teleconference and students are let in from the waiting room to show their cards. It’s not ideal, but with ctcLink and labor shortage (can’t even find people to fill HEERF funded roles), my
executive assistant has been doing this. I would recommend normalizing it to the enrollment requirements process. Overall, no regrets, especially the audit process. It helps with accountability and messaging that we’re not just relying on self-attestation
alone. Of course some folks are saying require visual inspection of cards for everyone, but given our resources, that’s just not feasible at this point.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
