on his equity agenda and the resulting budget proposals. Over the next few days, we anticipate announcements on budget proposals addressing economic recovery, early childhood education and the environment. It’s our understanding that the general operating
and capital budget proposals will be shared Thursday afternoon. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="Pa9" style="margin-bottom:4.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#041D35">Fortunately, our system’s role in promoting equal access to education, training and the resulting employment opportunities was recognized. The Governor is
proposing $23.3 million (from the Workforce Education Investment Account) to advance equitable outcomes for CTC students.</span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#221E1F"> This funding provides for collaborative reviews of the curriculum and
removes equity barriers to student success. This money will also fund technology grants to convert technical and laboratory-based instruction to an interactive online format – allowing more students to learn remotely and increase access for working adults
