<p class="MsoNormal">Julie: Jan asked me to update WACTC on the Attorney General’s request for summary judgment allowing CARES Act financial aid funds to go to DACA students. The District Court ruled against that motion, and the AG has decided not to pursue
an interlocutory appeal. The risk of an adverse decision at a higher level - 9th Circuit- is high, especially given the relative weakness of their legal argument on the DACA front and the “higher bar” of an interlocutory appeal. Glad to elaborate on this if
needed.<o:p></o:p></p>
