various messages from OFM, the Military Department/State Emergency Operations Center and DES directing them to track and report COVID-19 costs. State Board staff sent a message to BAC and BAR members today that attempted to clarify the purpose of each report

The State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) provided forms and directions for collecting COVID cost and lost revenue data in mid-March. Colleges forwarded the first installment of cost data to the State Board on March 30<sup>th</sup> for merging and submittal
to the SEOC. Clarification provided this morning indicated that this data collection is a</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif"> normal part of the emergency management process and is used to qualify for a Presidential
Disaster Declaration. Funding may be received through FEMA for eligible costs.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
