<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Franklin Gothic Book",sans-serif">As we look at ways to increase the number of Washingtonians, especially low income adults, going to college and completing financial aid applications, Jan Yoshiwara
in October formed a Joint Higher Education Work Group. To help with this effort, The Washington Student Achievement Council will hold seven free train-the-trainer sessions in late January. We encourage our staff to attend one of these sessions. Once trained,
our staff will train volunteers to work with low income families, informing them of opportunities to go to college with financial support and help them complete financial state and federal financial aid applications.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
