<p class="MsoNormal">It was great to see (and hear via Zoom) many of you last week. As you are all likely aware, for a variety of reasons, the WSSSC executive committee has undergone some changes. As secretary, I am providing an update and next steps on how
we might move forward with WSSSC leadership for this year. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Given that we do not have a commissioner who has served in the president-elect role for a year, Matt has agreed to serve for an additional year as president. In order to assure that each role is slotted, the executive committee met to discuss
how to organize itself. As a result, the following slate is (re)submitted for your consideration:

<b>If you have concerns (or want to offer support), please provide them, either to wsssc@listserv or to Joe Holliday no later than Tuesday, July 24<sup>th</sup></b>. This timing will allow us to confirm WACTC committee assignments for the WACTC Summer Retreat.

<p class="MsoNormal">In addition, please note that <b>we are looking for a liaison to the WACTC Technology Committee</b>. This is a standing committee of WACTC with monthly meetings. In addition,
<i>members of WACTC standing committees are also members of the WSSSC executive committee</i>, per the WSSSC bylaws. This could be a fairly important committee given the role of technology, particularly in the context of pathways, as well as the committee’s
tangential connection to the ctcLink project team. This is a great opportunity to be engaged at a higher level.
