<b><u>Elaine Williams Bryant</u></b> has been select as the Interim Vice President for Student Services and Achievement starting July 9. Please welcome her to the group. She has been with OC since 1996 and is currently serving as the Dean of Student Development.
She is also a member of the 2018-2019 WELA cohort so she is unable to attend the summer WSSSC meeting because of conflicting obligations. She will be sending Jennifer Glasier, Dean of Enrollment Services as her sub.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I am writing to express my sincerest thanks to this great group of leaders as I transition into a new position. I began my new role as President of South on Monday the 2<sup>nd</sup>. I have enjoyed 6 years as a part of this team, and the
WSSSC work I have been involved in has been among the highlights of my job. My relationships with this great peer group has also been incredibly valuable.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">You can’t get rid of me quite so easily, however. I have now been assigned as the WACTC WSSSC liaison, so will be working with the WSSSC exec team, including Joe Holliday, on my involvement and connection over the next year. I look forward
to bringing my deep understanding of our commission and our body of work to the president’s group.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I am also proud to announce and introduce Joyce Allen as South’s Interim VP of Student Services! Joyce is CCed above. She has been serving South as our Dean of Enrollment Services for 3 years now, and has been active with ARC in that role.
She begins her role immediately, though she regrets not being able to attend the meeting in Walla Walla next week.
