do not require a four-year college degree. They can start their path to those jobs by taking career and technical education (CTE) courses while in high school.

high-wage, high-demand occupations – as well as other improvements. If Washington adopts leading practices in four key areas, the state could create more opportunities for students while closing the gap between our students’ skills and the needs of local
