Human subjects research is increasing at community colleges. Outside requests for information, college employees working on advanced degrees and wanting to make use of relatively close data, etc. all contribute to a rise in the necessity to assess our concerns
 and needs. Research involving human subjects is typically reviewed by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) at traditionally research-focused institutions; however, community and technical colleges do not always have the infrastructure or resources to support
 an IRB. All federal research grants, even those supporting education, require IRB approval.<br>

The Research & Planning Commission (RPC) has formed an IRB Committee to assess the need for a system-wide solution to this problem and to offer potential models. Your participation in this survey is very important in helping us to do so. Please see the link
