[Wsssc] WSSSC Summer Meeting update

Hi there-

WSSSC Exec met yesterday and recommended that we not hold our traditional 2 day summer meeting, which was scheduled July 7 and 8. You are free to release those dates from your calendar!

IC is also not meeting at that time, and we're in conversation with IC chair, Charlie Crawford, about planning a possible joint meeting(s) later in the summer or early fall on a focused topic(s).

WSSSC will continue to meet biweekly throughout the summer, starting July 9, from 8-9 am. Look for calendar invites soon.

Stay tuned on additional ideas and recommendations for an alternative summer meeting (e.g. a couple of longer meetings [2-3 hours] and/or dedicated topics during our scheduled biweekly meetings). Please share any ideas you have with me or exec members - it is likely our traditional model of meeting will change this academic year due to the current circumstances.
