[Wsssc] professional development for SS staff

At North, we do a ½ day professional development day every quarter.  We have partnered with our faculty so that it is held at the same day as our Faculty Development Day.  I am working towards making it a full day next academic year.  This was a practice at South that Rosie initiated and continues today.

Dear Colleagues,
Our student services team at EvCC has one professional development day per calendar year. I am developing a rationale to create more opportunities for them as we work through Guided Pathways and are asking them to analyze their work, reduce barriers for students, and do things differently.

Do your institutions have more than one day per year or approach this differently?
