Colleagues: below is a follow-up email from guided pathways director Kristi Wellington-Baker.


Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts and suggestions about the system investment in Guided Pathways, and how we can best provide your colleges the ideal support for the reform work.  Below were my initial takeaways from our time together:


  *   Ability to Benefit - An AtB summit would be helpful to propel statewide improvements in the systematic awarding of AtB eligible students - We've scheduled an initial meeting with Will Durden, Jon Kerr, Joe Holiday, Ruben Flores and myself to start the planning for this.  If you have suggested times/ audience focus you think we should consider, please feel free to email any of us on the planning team. This is a critical integrated student support structure that has possibilities in terms of enrollment/ transition opportunities!
  *   Technology Solutions - Enthusiasm for streamlining solution options and potential statewide support through RFA/ purchase option - I've touched bases with Mark Jenkins regarding how the Canvas product process happened, and we'll meet in the next few weeks to talk about how that might be possible in this complex scenario.
  *   Math reform data - Faculty & Instructional leadership would like additional data/ data packages on math reform models, including placement to better inform in the redesign process - I'll be working to incorporate this into the coming learning agenda events and communities of practice opportunities with the folks from CCRC and the Dana Center at UT Austin
  *   Faculty Engagement Strategies - I'll be working to incorporate this into the coming learning agenda events and communities of practice opportunities with the Aspen Institute folks, but would love additional recommendations on Washington leaders who you feel have most successfully achieved this for future events.  Nominate your colleague by simply emailing me!
  *   Equity - Continuation of infusion of equity principles and practical strategies for colleges throughout Learning Agenda - Will keep working on this, but again, am open and excited to learn from all of you what's working well, and how we can move those effective practices forward with other colleges.
