Respected colleagues,

I am writing to you behalf of MSSDC leadership to promote and invite participants in the upcoming Undocumented Students 101/102 regional trainings. Please encourage your staff to attend. Please contact

Undocumented Students/DREAMers 101 & 201
Representatives from the Multicultural Student Services Directors' Council (MSSDC) are facilitating three identical sessions across the state focused on increasing institutional responsiveness to the needs of undocumented students and DREAMers. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, barriers to academic success and retention of undocumented students and DREAMers, best practices for supporting them, applicable state and federal laws/initiatives, and action planning for institutional change.
All interested employees in the community and technical college system are welcome to attend any of the following three sessions:


·       June 1, 2018, 8:30am to 3:30pm at Lake Washington Institute of Technology

·       June 8, 2018, 8:30am to 3:30pm at Yakima Valley College

·       June 8, 2018, 9am to 4pm at Tacoma Community College

Cost: $50 per person
