Yakima Valley also has a student ambassador program. In addition, we have an outreach coordinator who reports to the Registrar and Director of Enrollment Services. If a student ambassador is not available, the outreach coordinator or another member of Admissions provides the tour.

Have a good day,

We have a student Ambassador program with five students leaders who coordinate all tours and also connect with students in the application/registration process. The program reports to our Assistant director of Admissions and Student Recruitment.

Hi Chio,
We handle these requests through our Enrollment Services office, which includes recruitment and admissions. We have an exempt recruitment specialist who coordinates these requests, and tours are usually given by the recruitment staffer or a part-time hourly student worker employed in Enrollment Services.

Student Life helps with tours during peak times, such as new student orientation.

I hope this helps!

All,

I am looking to reorganizing how WVC can most effectively can deliver visitations and tours given our current structure. We currently handle all requests for tours and visitation programs through our Student Programs Office. ASWVC senate leaders conduct our tours.

If you have a different set up, I’d welcome any and all details!

Thanks,

Chio
