[Wsssc] Save the Date: Meeting on Housing and Residence Life Feburary 8

Colleagues: this is an update on the Housing and Residence Life meeting we are holding on February 8th at Green River College. The room location has changed to the River Room, on the 1st floor of the Mel Lundbloom Student Union. The time is still 1:00 - 4:00 PM.

We have two outstanding presenting panels lined up for the meeting. We have a team of highly experienced university folks from UW, PLU, and UPS, and a talented team of our own VPs and Housing/Res Life Directors. The agenda is still being finalized and will be sent out closer to the date, as will parking information and directions.

Colleagues: We now have a date, time and location for our housing and residence life meeting. It isn't perfect, but it works for 15 of 19 of you who responded, better by far than the other options. The meeting will be on February 8th from 1-4 PM. We will meet in the Pine/Noble Rooms in the Mel Lindbloom Student Union located on the main campus of Green River College (thanks Deb!).

I know that some of you are not planning to attend, but I also know that some of you wish to bring additional people to the meeting. We have a capacity of 40 participants, so we should be OK but we will send out an invitation with an RSVP just to make sure.

I will now turn to developing the agenda and lining up facilitators. I am thinking of having a panel of community and technical college folks who have some experience in this area, and also a panel of university folks with expertise in some of the areas you have expressed an interest in. I have identified some people already, but if you can recommend anyone to me, please do so.

Please save the date and watch for an invitation in the next couple of weeks.

Hi Folks, Happy Monday. This is just a friendly reminder to complete the survey and meeting doodle at the link below if you haven't already. We have 16 responses on the form and about 4-5 folks who emailed me  to opt out, which leaves about 14-15 of you still needing to weigh in on possible meeting topics for the housing/residence life meeting, and to indicate your meeting availability (all on one convenient Google Form!).
